The SX1280IMLTRT is a high-performance, long-range 2.4 GHz RF transceiver from Semtech, part of the LoRa Connect™ product line. Packaged in a compact 4 × 4 mm QFN-24 (exposed pad), it integrates a frequency synthesizer, IF signal chain, power amplifier, low-noise amplifier, and ranging engine. With support for LoRa®, FLRC, FSK/GFSK modulations, it delivers robust communication up to +12.5 dBm output and –132 dBm sensitivity, while operating with very low power consumption—8.2 mA in receive mode and 24 mA in transmit. The chip runs from 1.8 V to 3.7 V and supports SPI/UART control interfaces, making it ideal for compact IoT, industrial, and smart-city applications requiring reliable wireless connectivity and ranging.
